Who we are

Remoteen ("we", "us") is a startup studio at 4th Floor, 37 Civic Center, Block M, Model Town Extension, Lahore, Pakistan. This policy covers the website at remoteen.com only. Our products have their own policies: Depost AI's is at depost.ai/privacy, and Leadox will publish its own before it opens to the public. Nothing you do inside those products is covered here.

What this site collects

There are no accounts, forms, newsletters or comments on remoteen.com. Three things happen when you visit.

Hosting logs. The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare sees your IP address, the page you asked for, your browser type and the time of the request, and keeps that for a short period to run and protect the service. We do not read these logs unless we are investigating a problem.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It sets cookies on your browser and sends Google the page you visited, a rough location based on your IP address, and details about your device and browser. Google does not store your full IP address. We do not send it your name or anything that identifies you, and we do not use it for advertising. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we do not load Google Analytics at all.

Fonts. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches them, Google receives your IP address and browser details, as it would for any file you download from a Google server.

The email button on the contact section copies our address to your clipboard. That happens in your browser and sends nothing to us.

When you email us

If you write to [email protected], we keep your message and our reply for as long as the conversation is useful, which for most emails means a few years. We use it to answer you and for nothing else. We do not add you to any list.

Cookies

The only cookies on this site are the ones Google Analytics sets, named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier. They last up to two years and exist to tell repeat visits from new ones. You can block or delete them in your browser settings, install Google's opt-out add-on, or turn on Global Privacy Control, and the site will work exactly the same.

Who else sees your data

Cloudflare (hosting), Google (analytics and fonts), and the provider that runs our email. Each processes data on our behalf under its own terms. We do not sell data, share it with advertisers, or pass it to anyone else unless the law requires it.

Where it is processed

We are in Pakistan. Cloudflare and Google process data in the United States and in data centres around the world. Where the law that applies to you requires safeguards for such transfers, we rely on the standard contractual clauses and certifications those providers hold.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. For most visitors the honest answer is that we hold nothing that identifies you. If you have emailed us, we can delete the thread on request. Write to [email protected] and we will reply within thirty days. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This site is not directed at anyone under sixteen, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If we add something that collects data, such as a form or a newsletter, we will update this page and the date at the top before it goes live.
